1. Submit Your Books to Us
Package your comics securely and send or drop them off to us here in Australia. We’ll review your books, confirm grading tiers, optional services (such as pressing or Signature Series), and help guide you through the submission process.
2. We Collate Australian Customer Orders
Rather than sending individual books internationally, we combine customer submissions into larger consolidated orders. This helps reduce overall international shipping costs and streamlines the process for Australian collectors.
3. Secure International Shipping to CGC
Once the order is prepared, all submissions are professionally packed and shipped via FedEx to Certified Guaranty Company in the United States using tracked and insured international courier services.
4. CGC Receives & Verifies the Submission
Upon arrival, CGC logs the order into their system and verifies the submission details. Your books then move through the grading pipeline.
5. Pressing & Cleaning
If selected, books may undergo professional pressing and cleaning to help improve presentation by reducing non-colour-breaking defects such as bends, waviness, and handling wear.
6. Professional Grading
CGC’s expert graders carefully assess each comic’s condition, authenticity, page quality, and defects using industry grading standards.
7. Encapsulation (“Slabbing”)
Once graded, books are sealed in CGC’s tamper-evident protective holders with an official grade label, preserving and showcasing the comic long-term.
8. Return Shipping to Australia
After grading is complete, the full order is securely shipped back to Australia via FedEx and processed through customs clearance.
9. Final Quality Check & Customer Collection
Once received back in Australia, we complete a final inspection before arranging pickup, delivery, or return shipping to customers.
10. Enjoy Your Graded Collection
Your comics are now professionally authenticated, protected, and ready for display, collecting, or resale with added market confidence.
